SPRING NEWSLETTER 2021   Hello! I hope you are getting outside and enjoying all the sunny days we have been having lately!  I would love to be outside more, but work pulls me inside.  Go for a walk or bike ride with family or friends.  It’s essential for our health to be out in the sun and to be with family and friends. Please don’t forget that 🙂 Keep in mind, Foam Frenzy will be serving you all year long, lockdown or not.   I want to say thank you to all my wonderful customers that referred me the last few months:   Butterfield Auto Sales Rebecca Gbadebo Lindsay Sol Randall Jarvis Colleen Gray Theresa Tetzlaff Chris and Crystal Labbate Theresa Comelli Linda Santos Carolyn Campbell Carina Palmer Larry Pickle Matt Biggley Betty Pitts Katherine Frederick Stacey Sippel Victoria Lester Jan Arnold Diane Bondy Jeane Taylor Missy Mastronardi Sheri Lowrie Wayne Wharram Cathy Bechard Lionheart Interiors Gloria Burford Peggy and John Field Mark Kupko Megan Cooper Susie McGorisk   Thank you to those who took the time to write a review!  The November through March monthly winners are: Patti Graf Julianne Longlade Randall Jarvis Adam Patterson Take care and enjoy yourself! Renée   Considerations when Renovating your Home   The newest style trends in home renovations include painting white or light gray walls.  Many times, the walls are paired with similar-coloured upholstered furniture.  It really makes a neutral statement.  Instead, warm up the neutral walls with earthy colours, like browns, greens or reds.  These colours are beneficial to keeping them looking good, since they won’t show every little stain. You can also add warmth to the room with wood/wood-looking floors or wood tables.  You can use the same wood tones throughout the room or mix it up to make it more eclectic. Adding texture with pillows using fluffy materials or patterned fabric on an accent chair, will help balance the room and hide stains. Another new trend is having an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen.  There are ways to help separate these rooms, without walls.  You can place area rugs under your dining table or in front of your couch.  You can also add light fixtures over top of these same areas to give them their own space.  You can also add different floor types, like a tile entrance to differentiate it. If you like the neutral look, then you can add warmth by adding a few accent pieces with colour, like plants or one or two pieces of red or green furniture.  This will make them really stand out! Hopefully you learned a thing or two...

SPRING NEWSLETTER 2020 Spring is Almost here Guys!   Hello! I hope you and your families are staying healthy! We are both still working, so we have been staying home otherwise and not socializing with friends and family. I know some of you are probably driving yourselves and your families crazy 🙂 It’s a good time to get some  things done on your To Do List that you never seem to get to. Or maybe there’s something you wanted to make a daily habit that you don’t usually have time for Eg. exercise or walk the dog twice a day. I know we will all get through this, hopefully sooner than later. If I can help in any way, let me know.   I want to say thank you to all my wonderful customers that referred me the last few months: Mariette Preyde Rosemary Thompson Betty Renaud Marilyn Chedour Jordyn Eid Pat Matthews Judy Colangelo Betty at Grand Marais Co-op Holly Mayheux Matt Biggley   Thank you to those who took the time to write a review. There were a record number posted in March! The December through March monthly review winners are:   Ian Campbell Carol McKenna Jill Riediger Colette Squire   Take care, be careful and see you on the other side of this!   Renée 9 Tips for Staying Healthy   Remove the foods that viruses like to eat—eggs, dairy, gluten and corn.   Reduce your fat intake so your blood can stay oxygenated to fight viruses off. This includes, high-fat oils, nut butters or any meat, including chicken.   Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables; especially celery and cucumber juices, raw garlic, thyme, ginger and elderberries.  This is the fuel your body needs to heal.   Take these supplements—liquid zinc sulphate, vitamin C, cat’s claw, lemon balm, mullein leaf, goldenseal, spirulina, B12 and L-Lysine.   Clean everything that comes into your house, including all your groceries and products you buy.   When you arrive home—change your clothes, wash your hands and under your fingernails, clean your keys, phone, credit cards, water bottles or anything you bring inside.   Avoid touching things with your hands that others have touched, like door or sink handles, bank machine screens or buttons, gas pumps or grocery carts.  Use your sleeve, a paper towel, wear gloves or sanitize it first.   Avoid raw, under-cooked food and ice from restaurants. Ask for your food to be very hot, so any viruses will be killed.   Keep your mail or packages outside for 1-2 days, or remove the product outside and throw out the packaging. Then wash the product you received....

2019 JUNE NEWSLETTER Spring is Almost here Guys! Hello! I hope you are enjoying the few nice days of sunshine we have had so far! I’m hoping for more on the weekends though 🙂     Thanks to you, Foam Frenzy has been named one of the Three Best Rated Carpet Cleaners in the Windsor area again for 2019!  I hope to keep up the good work!   I have some exciting news!  I have discovered the world of Norwex to help reduce chemicals in my home. I figured since you are a Foam Frenzy client, that you are probably environmentally-conscious like myself and may be interested. For those who haven’t heard of Norwex, they make cleaning and personal products without chemicals. I will be carrying their products starting July if anyone is interested. I will be having a live Facebook event on Wednesday, July 3 at 7:30pm to kick it off! Let me know if you are interested in attending or receiving info on it. If you can’t attend, you can still be a part of it.  You can win some free stuff! You can also look up Foam Frenzy’s Norwex FB Party on Facebook. I will also be giving out travel-sized microfiber cloths and catalogues at every cleaning, so you can try it for yourself. That’s how I became interested in it! I cleaned my tub with one and it was so much easier than a traditional microfiber cloth! They even make a mitt just for showers and tubs that work even better!   Thank you to my wonderful clients who booked  cleanings, referred Foam Frenzy and posted reviews the last few months, especially: Linda Enns Jean Mero Lorraine Leger Grand Marais Co-op Joan Auffret Suzanne Woods Joan Sippel Mandi Scherer-Horne Ken and Lynn Breault Suzanne Keller Lucille and Kerry St. Pierre   The March, February and May monthly review winners are: Sarah Jarvis Amanda Freeman Donna McIntosh   Have a great summer and hope to see you soon! Renée   9 Reasons to Use Norwex Their microfiber contains silver that naturally kills bacteria, so it won’t smell with continuous wet use.   The fibers are so thin and dense that they pick up so much dust/dirt or water depending on which way you use it. A hand towel can hold a cup of water!   They dry in 1/3 the time it takes to dry a normal towel, which is great for hand or body towels or drying dishes.   You don’t need chemicals to clean with them, because they grab so much dirt and they remove up to 99% of bacteria with only water!...

2019 MARCH NEWSLETTER Spring is Almost here Guys!   Hello there! I hope 2019 is treating you well so far! I can’t complain.  Even if I do, it’s really not worth complaining about anyway! It’s always nice to go south to get a break during the winter.  I hope you were able to!  I was able to get away for some lukewarm weather 🙂  It was better than nothing though! Since it is March, warmer weather is just around the corner.  It’s supposed to be above freezing for the next week! It has been nice to take a break from the craziness of the other three seasons of the year.  But I’m ready for it again!  I’m sure you are too! This winter has been even busier for Foam Frenzy, and of course I have you to thank for that! As always, thank you to my wonderful clients who referred Foam Frenzy the last two months, especially:   Michael Overholt Nicole Gee Linda Enns Leslie McLean Meredith Desmarais Claire Douglas Chantelle Bell Chris Szwed Chantelle Peladeau Darlene Anderson Jake and Marilyn Omstead   Also, thank you to those who booked cleanings and posted reviews! The January and February monthly review winners are: Sherie Lowrie Betty from Grand Marais Co-op   Renée Stain Removal Tips for your Home   Always read the instructions on the bottle first.  You may or may not need to rinse it out after.   Always test it in a non-visible area. If it takes the colour out, at least it won’t be noticeable.   Use a white towel, so you can see if the stain is coming out or not.   Always blot the stain, just in case it wants to spread   Less moisture is better. Apply the stain remover to the white towel and then apply it to the fabric or carpet.   If you’re cleaning a fabric that leaves stains from water, you can fan out the moisture from the spot to avoid this. You can also use a hair dryer or fan to dry it quickly.   If you’re cleaning up organic stains like vomit, urine or feces, make sure to use a cleaner that specifically works on these types of stains.   If you use laundry detergent or dish soap, make sure it is a very small amount. These soaps go a long way.  You could end up making a bigger mess.   If you do need to rinse it out after, make sure to do it. If not, you will be leaving  residue that will collect dirt and the stain will look like it came back, sometimes worse...
